It’s that time of the year again to slow down and take stock of everything that one has to be grateful for.
For me personally, 2021 has been a transformative year, so I’d like to like to take a minute to share some of the things that I am most thankful for right now:
My Growing Family
First and foremost, I’m excited to share that my wife, Eva, and I are expecting our first child next April, and we can’t wait to meet our little girl! We’re ready (at least we think we are) for the next chapter in life and all that parenthood will bring. I am feeling more motivated and inspired than ever to be the best version of myself.
My 360 Relay Team
I truly believe that we have the best team in the industry, and they energize me every day. Led by my VP Randi with 14 years of experience, anchored by Karin and Megan providing incredible client support, fueled by Joe and David hitting the phones to schedule every shop possible, and strengthened by Kim spearheading our QA process – I am so lucky to be surrounded by such a special group of people.
The last 18-24 months have affected everyone differently. In our case, we had to shut down the business last spring for a few months before reopening our doors in June 2020. At the time Covid hit, we had roughly 400 clients and were conducting roughly 5,000 mystery shops per month. At this point today, we haven’t completely recovered to pre-Covid levels, but we have been steadily making our way back, and it has been a joy to reconnect with previous clients along the way, as well as welcome many new clients to our portfolio. Onward and upward!
Clients, Partners, and Shoppers
We don’t say it nearly enough, but I want to send a big thank you to everyone that continually puts their trust in us. I absolutely love working with our clients directly every day and hearing the success stories coming out of the services that we provide for them. Certainly, we would not be able to do what we do without the help of many great partners and vendors (big shout out to Prism) as well as our national network of mystery shoppers. They all make it possible and make us look good (most of the time).
As the proud new owner of 360 Relay, since March of this year, I believe that our company has developed many strengths that will continue to propel us forward. I also have some fresh ideas up my sleeve that I am looking forward to implementing in 2022. We will remain committed to our core values and differentiators as we look to further solidify our existing relationships and cultivate new ones!
